He deduces this from a series of "classic signs". When Mojmir's wife Lidka arrives home, he observes the same "signs" in her. Together, the two men watch Lidka secretly leave the house and get into a taxi with an unknown man. Out of grief, they resort to a bottle of alcohol and in a drunken stupor decide to make a life together without women. In the middle of their planning, Lidka unexpectedly returns home.
