Half plate armor art

Two (of many) externally created assets I supervised for Shadow of War's main character. Númenór is one of the few cultures that haven't been in the films so we got to create our own take on their aesthetic, leaning into Roman and Egyptian motifs. My favorite armor of the game, the Dwarven set had intricate celtic inspired knots that we opted to model into the chest plating, to give it a robust high-end feel. Modeled & textured by the excellent art team at Xpec. Concepts by Eric Kohler.

Jaune's Transcripts have been exposed by Cardin and he was shunned, beaten, and bullied everyday. This simple rule gives more value to armor since it adds Damage Reduction when the character would go to less than 0 hp. RULE Armor works normally (give AC bonus) until the character goes to 0 hp then Armor absorb excess damage from that hit. This armor is a combination of chainmail with metal plates (breastplate, epaulettes, elbow guards, gauntlets, tasses, and greaves) covering vital areas. Buckles and straps hold the whole suit together and distribute the weight, but the armor still hangs more loosely than full plate. The suit includes gauntlets.
