Beautiful wooden Japanese cabinet (tansu) from the Meiji era.  This decorative piece of furniture features sliding doors at the top for storage and eight drawers at the bottom.  The cabinet is in good condition, beautifully weathered, and has a missing door (see photos).  A decorative piece with a story, a glimpse into Japan's history!
