I was staring at this KALLAX unit the other day wondering what I could that was different from before. A lightbulb literally went off in my head and I decided to make it into a coffee table. I then searched the internet for styles I liked and got started. I used the shade ‘Salt Of Earth’ from @frenchicpaint and their ‘Browning Wax’ for the top. #gifted I had the tiniest of timberboard left over from a previous collaboration with @wickes and then went a bought some which would creat the lid. I got the two cubed KALLAX units from Facebook Marketplace for £15, I used one roll of d-c - fix for each table, and picked up some hairpin legs. This time I took these broken 2x2 IKEA Kallax cube shelves and restored them to build this awesome new craft table for the office! I used my @loctiteglue Power Grab Ultimate Crystal Clear Construction Adhesive to repair the units and to attach poplar board to the door and drawer fronts! These shelves were falling apart and now they have a whole new life!
