Cleaning my desktop I came across a folder with these five images in it. Sheilah Beckett has done tons of children's book/fairy tale art. These struck me most from the work i could find of hers online. The first three almost look like they could be printed in brown and black only as spot colors but they contain such a lush hue - very different than most of her stuff but her more recent work seems to also capture some of this duotone scale.
