We will be dedicating next week to honouring truth, reconciliation and reflection in our #kindergarten classroom and within our district. But being who you are can be celebrated anytime so we came to the party a little early 😉 We were excited to do our first #directeddrawing of the year after reading @toddparr book. This led to wonderful discussions about what makes us who we are as I traced their beautiful self portraits with a magnum @sharpie for them. ❤️ It also meant some reflective “I am” statements that made my heart pitter patter.
