These ornaments are made out of white birch wood slices. I go for a walk in the woods and find fallen limbs that I like the looks of and take them back to the wood shop. I use a chop saw to cut the discs of wood and a belt sander to smooth them out. I draw a picture on the wood disc with pencil and then wood burn the ornament.
