"This headpiece is a perfect compliment to any dress. It is believed that Henry VIII's second wife and Elizabeth I's mother, Anne Boleyn brought the Hood style of headwear back to England following her service at the court of the French King. This traditional example of an elaborate French Hood circa 1520 - 1540 and has been made from a sturdy base that has been covered with lush velvet. Appropriate weight wire has been added to maintain it's shape. The gold metallic trim has been adorned with h
