Little Thieves by Margaret Owen
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book is smart and funny. Painful and heartwarming.
The characters and world are rich, realistic and believable.
Would it be strange to say that this book helped me in therapy?
It has a very realistic representation of how childhood trauma changes you. What it makes you think about yourself and others. It asks, who’s the real monster? Clearly not those who are just trying to survive.
It asks if people can change, listen and grow.
It’s a book I’d highly recommend, for the rest of my life probably. I’m excited for the next one.
THE WEATHER BETTER BE GOOD THIS HALLOWEEN. I HAVE SUCH GOOD PLANS.
IF IT RAINS, I’M FIGHTING THE GODS WITH MY BEAR HANDS.
CURRENTLY TYING TEDDY BEARS TO MY HANDS.
As I was walking home, I saw a teenage girl with her eyes glued to her phone screen. Walking directly towards a pole.
Before I could warn her, she smoothly dodged it. Without even glancing up.
Gen Z have super powers. (∂△∂;)
apologies to anyone who ever thought i was cool and reached out to me only to discover i am just a weird little hermit who can't carry on a conversation to save my life
I know this is such a chronically online thing to say, but I get sad that I get to scroll the Internet and peer into so many cool peoples lives, but I'll never get meet them and be their friend.
