One of my favourite little details back when S2 aired was, although we didn’t see it directly, the way the breakfast table was set up in 2x01 made it clear that Rayla and Callum evidently sat next to each other routinely while at the Moon Nexus… so seeing it again come full circle, this time in the show itself with added cuteness and intimacy, made my heart go !!! “and at every table, I’ll save you a seat

Was pondering why I love 07x05 (“Sticky Fingers”) so much on the car ride to work. I think part of it is the tragedy of Callum seeing what he thinks the rest of his life will be like and having that reality immediately ripped away upon learning of Aaravos’s return. Like, that is devastatingly unfair.

Janai has given so much for the future of the people here so that we can have lives again. So that all of us can be safe and happy with the ones we love, with our families. Families like yours. / If you love them, Rayla, Ezran, all of them, you’ll do anything to save them. I do, and… I will.

But all they found (or, not all, but at least it wasn’t dozens of dark mages) was an Earthblood elf standing in front of the puzzle, a hand on his hip. He had green hair and antlers, vaguely familiar though not well defined, humming softly to himself. He turned at the sound of their footsteps, adjusting large round glasses on his face. A faint black tinge lingered in the corners of his eyes—dark magic residue—and he seemed tired, mud caking the bottom of his shoes.

“You!” Soren snapped, levelling a sword in his direction, and keeping Ezran squarely in between him and Corvus.

“Should we know him?” Ez said.

“He’s Claudia’s elf friend,” Soren said with distaste. “He stuffed my mouth with leaves! And kidnapped me.”

“Ah, yes—crimes of equal proportions,” Opeli remarked quietly, and Corvus stifled a snort.

“I haven’t come here to commit any crimes,” the Earthblood elf said. “I’ve—” He took a step forward and Soren’s sword jutted out further; he took a step back. “Fair enough,” he concluded nervously. “Look, I know I broke into your castle, but I just came to talk, really.”
