This advertisement is for Swordheart by T. Kingfisher, a cozy romantic fantasy novel about a widowed housekeeper, keen on surviving her overbearing family who want only her inheritance.
WHAT ITβS ABOUT
Halla has unexpectedly inherited the estate of a wealthy uncle. Unfortunately, she is also saddled with money-hungry relatives full of devious plans for how to wrest the inheritance away from her.
While locked in her bedroom, Halla inspects the ancient sword that's been collecting dust on the wall since before she moved in. Out of desperation, she unsheathes itβand suddenly a man appears. His name is Sarkis, and he is an immortal warrior trapped in a prison of enchanted steel.
Sarkis is sworn to protect whoever wields the sword, and for Hallaβa most unusual wielderβhe finds himself fending off not grand armies and deadly assassins but instead everything from kindly-seeming bandits to roving inquisitors to her own in-laws. But as Halla and Sarkis grow closer, they overlook the biggest threat of allβthe sword itself.

I kinda like how human gangle looks so big, you expect her to have a deeper voice, but she has a cuter higher pitched voice instead! That must have been a bit of whiplash for some people! (Unless her real voice is different from her digital one)

Reblog this to spread the word, I'm tired of the enshittification of the things I use in my day to day life.
#soooo funny my m*ther literally brought this up at my niece's bday. and mentioned blue from blue's clues#like why would they do that blue is for boys π#maam have you ever seen a blue dog in real life. this is cartoons. shut the fuck up it's a fucking color
I don't know if Blue is any specific breed but Bluey is a blue heeler, who look like:
They can look pretty blue.
And half of them are girls! Cattle dog breeding is so goddamn woke these days.
#my heeler looks more like Bingo and Chili#except he has very little white on him
A red heeler!
Same breed (Australian cattle dog), different colouration. The red colouration is a little bit rarer because it's genetically recessive.
The black and brown/orange spots on the blue heelers remind me of rotties
I have a Rottie and people will keep calling her "he" and "big boy," etc, even after I say, "her name is Sophie."
