Jarir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever is not merciful will not receive mercy. Whoever does not forgive will not be forgiven. Whoever does not repent, Allah will not turn to him.”
al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr lil-Ṭabarānī 2476
And indeed, your Lord is full of forgiveness for the people despite their wrongdoing
Holy Qur’an, ar-Ra’d 6
Abu Bakr reported: He said to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, “O Messenger of Allah, teach me a supplication to say in my prayers.” The Prophet said, “Say: O Allah, I have wronged myself with great injustices and none forgives sin but You, so forgive me and have mercy upon me. Verily, You alone are the Forgiving, the Merciful.”
Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 7387
Today might be the last day of Ramadan! Ask Allah’s forgiveness. Allah promises you forgiveness when you go back to Him. So go back to Him with a heart filled with hope, with love and with His light.
Ya Allah in this blessed month of Ramadan we’ve learnt to stay away from the haraam! We fasted, read your Qur'an and prayed so that You are pleased with us! Please accept it from us! Please help us stay steadfast and keep guiding us, without You we are nothing!
