PLOT: Heartbroken over getting dumped by his girlfriend, a high school senior (Foster) tries to get his mind off of his ex. His friends try to make him think of something else and winds up in the school musical where he meets the flamboyant drama teacher (Martin Short) and a girl (Dunst) who encourages him at rehearsals and in life. Loosely based on the William Shakespeare play "A Midsummer's Night Dream".
