This pre-writing strokes activity builds fine motor skills needed to build handwriting skills. All you need is pencil erasers.

This is also a way to work on what we call “graded force” in the therapy world. Your child will have to determine how much force to place on the utensil to write in the play doh. If they push too hard, the play doh will rip. If they don’t push hard enough and use enough force, the letters will not show up.
