This is a Great Looking Antique Early American Salt Glaze Stoneware Storage Jar - Crock. With "Ears" - Handles. Circa Late 19th Century. The Front is Embossed with Blue Decorated Highlights - WINSHIP & SPENCER, NORWICH ( Connecticut ). It is in Very Good Structurally Strong - Sound Condition with No Cracks - Displays Very Nicely. "This is a Daisy Churn #40.  Made by the Daisy Manufacturing Company of St. Louis MO 1922. This particular churn does not have a screen in the lid. It has 2 nicks around the rim of the jar. Very clean. The glass is of the period where you still see the little bubbles in the glass.  The paddles are original. Height is 14 inches height. Width is 6 inches. This was in a trunk that was purchased by bid at an auction. It is a genuine find for that collector that appreciates kitchen antiques.
