The Furture Sewers class is a four week course to give children aged 8 to 15 years the chance to learn or enhance their sewing skills. Class fee of $100 covers the four weeks tuition, afternoon tea, and kit. The class runs every Wednesday from 09/MAY/2018 to 30/MAY/2018. Your own sewing machine is desirable, a loan machine is available at a small cost. Book here or contact the shop for further information.

After picking out the supplies, it took less than 20 minutes to finish! 🙌  A few notes about this pouch: 💖 The jelly vinyl was really easy to work with! I used a non-stick presser foot on my Juki and didn't have any issues sewing with the vinyl. If you don’t have a non-stick foot, you can use a small strip of paper between your foot and the vinyl to keep them from sticking together. The paper can then be torn away from the seam. 💖 For this pouch, I decided to put the final binding on the outside since turning small vinyl projects right-side out can be a little difficult.
