- filling new raised beds? Use a 3 way mix to fill the bed about 80% full. Then top it with a compost rich garden mix to plant all of your plants into.
- topping existing raised beds to help refresh for this season? Use a garden mix with compost
- want to refresh your perennial flower beds? We like to put a couple inch layer of a dark rich compost on the beds and around the existing plants. It does 2 main things … keeps the weeds at bay AND slowly releases nutrients into the soil as the spring rains come.
