Originally, this never-ending project was intended to be a cottage, but after remarks about it looking like a castle from passersby and neighbors, Jim let his imagination run wild, building one of the craziest looking structures around.

I've heard about it for years...a crazy castle built at 9000' in the Southern Colorado mountains by an obsessed amateur architect who flouted County regulations and created a tourist destination par excellence.
