This flag is made of Red maple leaves spread out over snow to represent the Canada Flag. This photo was taken in Barrie, Ontario in January 2009. I found the most red maple leaves I could find in the fall, and ironed them between wax paper. Then I waited. And waited. Finally, a calm, sunny January day came where I could lay these leaves on freshly fallen snow in the shape of Canada's flag. And here you are.
