Chippenham wiltshire

Corsham Court in Corsham, near Chippenham, Wiltshire, England, is a Grade I listed country house. The present house was built in 1582. An entrance archway was built to the south of the house c1700–20. The arch, in baroque style, is flanked by massive ashlar piers with ball finials. In the1760s the great gabled front of the house was doubled in depth and gabled wings at either end of the house were added. Remodelling was undertaken in the 1840s.
