How to make Salt Dough Ornaments Every year I love to have my son make salt dough ornaments and keepsakes to hang on the Christmas tree. It's so fun to pull them out every year

Ashley M | Motherhood on Instagram: "DIY Santa handprint ornaments that you will cherish for years to come!🎄 Make these fun salt dough ornaments with ingredients you have at home. I made a big enough batch to keep a few for myself and also to use as gifts for his grandparents and I even had enough dough to make paw print ornaments for our dogs. If you don’t need a big batch you can cut the ingredients in half. To make the dough: 4 cups flour, 1 cup table salt, 1.5 cups water (adding in small amounts if dough is too thick). Mix well and kneed together until dough is formed. Roll into 1/4 inch thick circles. Place hand firmly on dough to make handprint. Cut border around hand allowing a pointy part at the bottom for Santa’s beard.
