If You experience a Power outage you can create a DIY
Stove by placing Tea Light Candles into a Muffin Pan!

I was asked by many if you can cook food on it and here’s my thoughts 💭

Start with hot tap water from your sink... This helps the water boil faster
-Cover the pot/pan ...helps the heat stay in and boil faster
- Only use as much water as needed... This will speed up your process
- Use an old pot/pan that you don’t love too much.. The bottom will get soot on it but it can be washed off ( so im told
- Have patience ( Remember this is not a conventional stove so it will take longer

I hope this helps! Save and Share with someone who would find this useful

How would you cook if the electricity went out for an extended period? I bought the cooking tea light frame (looks like it used to hold a casserole) and the camp chef charcoal lighter basket from Goodwill for about $4. I used five tea…

where you can create a stove using a muffin pan and tea light candles if you experience a power outage. I got many questions about cooking food on it! Now if you have the patience it can be done 🤪 I wouldn’t suggest trying to cook full meals (it will probably take hours 😩) but reheating food and making hot beverages is perfect and doesn’t take too much time! It does take pretty long to come to a full boil but heating up soups and beans would be a great option to get through rough days. I was able to cook some ramen noodles 🍜 (once the water boiled 😥) and an egg in about 10mins 😝
