Something that just made me question a bit of Hazbin Hotel lore:

Does that mean that literally everyone in the show is related? Maybe there’s a loophole that I’m missing, but damn, it’s HH so I wouldn’t be surprised.

I was watching the My Little Pony movie earlier and y'know what?

I’ll never forgive the bronies for practically controlling every move the show made. Don’t get me wrong, I love a guy who is comfortable enough to watch MLP and Barbie and Monster/Ever After High, but God damn.

I hated the fact that Twilight and Flash didn’t end up together all because the bronies complained and stopped it from happening. Like, they would’ve been the cutest couple.

Don’t get me wrong, I adore the lesbian ships/confirmed pairings (I’m looking at you, AppleDash), but omfg, heaven forbid Twilight isn’t lesbian.

And they tried to justify it in Equestria Girls by having Flash say “I guess I can’t get jealous. I mean, she isn’t my Twilight.” The swapped dimensions loophole apparently covered up the creators torpedoeing the ship, but I’m not happy about it.

I find it very funny when I see a man complaining that “no girls will date him,” and then I proceed to learn more and eventually find out that he calls women sluts and whores and bitches.

Like—

Have they ever thought that that is why no women will date them? Have they even bothered to question if it’s just their shitty morals and suck ass personality that causes them to be unattractive to women?

Nah. They’re just a bunch of “pick me” assholes.

She has a response to every dumb thing these people say. Not to mention these idiots are actually trying to mansplain her books to her and tell HER what they actually mean and what the morals are. Bro they’re her damn books, I think she knows what they mean more than any of y'all.

If you have to jump through hoops to make a ship work, then it wasn’t actually a plausible ship to begin with and you’re just making things up to force it to work.

If you have to change the timeline or literally force everyone to be queer just so you can have your lovely little ships, then they never worked in the first place.

I have to get this off my chest.

Attention Marauders stans who believe in the “reason why Remus eats chocolate” bs:

A study in 1996 showed that chocolate caused the release of endorphins in the brain, making people feel happy.

When we eat chocolate, our brains release serotonin (the happy hormone.)

Remus is obviously sad and down in his later years because he’s having trouble finding a job and people don’t like him, etc. So what does he do? Eats chocolate because it makes him feel happier than he usually is.

This also has further implications when applied to the dementors. Dementors suck all of the happiness and life out of the world around us, so why do you think Remus told the kids to eat chocolate after the first dementor attack on the Hogwarts Express? Maybe because it makes you feel happy?? Wow, nothing has ever been so obvious.

So, basically, marauders stans who say that Remus is depressed enough to want to kill himself with chocolate (“kill the dog inside him”) are completely backwards in this theory. Why would someone try making themselves feel better with a proven method if they actually wanted to kill themselves? Doesn’t make a lot of sense, huh?

By making every marauders era character depressed asf, you’re completely missing the mark on the moral of the books/story. Sure, bad things happen but you can’t be depressed/do nothing about it forever. Eventually you have to face your demons and stand up for yourself and others. Remus was not depressed once he opened up to Tonks, but most of y'all just sweep her under the rug and forget she exists, right?

[THE 1988 MURDER OF BRENDA SCHAEFER]

Mel Ignatow and Brenda Schaefer had been in a relationship for two years at the time of the murder. Ignatow knew that Brenda, who had complained that he was abusive, was planning to break off their engagement. He asked a former girlfriend, Mary Ann Shore, to help him plan and carry out the murder. They spent several weeks making extensive preparations. Shore testified they had “scream tested” her house and dug a grave in the woods behind it.

On September 23, 1988, Brenda Schaefer met Ignatow to return some jewelry of his that she had in her possession. Instead, Ignatow took her to Shore’s house, where he pulled a gun on Schaefer and locked her in the house. She was blindfolded, gagged, and bound to a coffee table.

Ignatow forced her to strip, photographed her in suggestive positions, raped, sodomized and beat her before killing her with chloroform. Shore took pictures while Ignatow raped and tortured her and assisted Ignatow in covering up the murder. They buried her behind Shore’s house. He took Schaefer’s jewelry and the exposed film.

Six months after Ignatow’s acquittal, a carpetlayer working in Ignatow’s old house, which had been sold to fund his defense, pulled up a length of carpet in a hallway. Under it he found a floor vent containing a plastic bag, taped to hold it inside the vent. Inside the bag was the jewelry Schaefer had taken with her on the night of her disappearance, and three rolls of undeveloped film. When developed, the film showed Ignatow torturing and raping Schaefer, just as Shore had described. Ignatow’s face was not in the pictures (over 100 of them), but body hair patterns and moles matched him perfectly.

Ignatow faced federal charges for perjury and lying to the FBI, based on his grand jury testimony. Knowing that he could not be retried for the murder because of double jeopardy, Ignatow confessed in court at his perjury trial. He turned to Schaefer’s brothers in court and said that he had killed her, but claimed that she had “died peacefully.” In 1992, Ignatow pleaded guilty and was sentenced to eight years and one month in prison in return for a confession to the family.

He got out after five years in prison, and had time shaved off for good behavior, but he never served time for the murder of his fiancé.

Can we normalize fancasting marauders characters as literally nobodies? People with no track record as an actor? Like— Can’t we just find random ass people on pinterest and leave it at that? (Ik some people do this and I thank you because most “fancasts” I’ve seen are so awful.)
