Sorry didn't mean to bring you pain it's my most least favorite hunger games book I wish Mockingjay was better Peeta didn't really have many people there for him either it made me sad :( ANyway I didn't know Haymitch knew both of their families like that I'm sure he knew about them both probably kept tabs on them.
No worries! I was joking 😊 and yes I wish Mockingjay was better too I didn’t love the pacing in that book and I also don’t love third act setting changes which of course was what happened in mockingjay. And 😭 yes my boy Peeta suffered so much. And yeah he definitely saw them both grow up from afar 😭

I for one think Snow made a grave so nobody is wondering where Lucy has gone back then if not the people would think how could you not know where she has gone you're the capitol maybe I can disappear too if he did kill her they would've showed flashbacks or something.
I don’t think Snow knew about the Covey graveyard or he might’ve tried to destroy Lucy’s tombstone. I don’t think they would’ve shown flashbacks since it’s meant to be a mystery like the poem her name comes from, but I think he killed her.
Okay I'm going to admit something when I first watched the trailer for THG on tv the first thought in my mind were they were going to eat each other to survive in the game I thought that was what The Hunger Games meant like they were so hungry that it's the only way to survive lmao
Lol oh gosh I thought the hunger games was going to be about something different too! I first heard about it on Stephenie Meyers website in 2008 and I pictured the teenagers fighting to the death in a gladiator style arena and that it would come down to just Katniss and Peeta and they would throw their swords down and hug each other, choosing to die together rather than be forced to kill the other 😭
