I watched kiki's delivery service when I was 5 and Ursula made me gay,I have beat Bloodborne (and DLC) and god what a fun fucking game
And I’m not saying this to flex, I’m saying it to be encouraging, it wasn’t that hard! Parts of it were challenging, but once you get past the first few bosses, the game gives you enough tools to help you out. It’s genuinely not a punishing game designed to beat your head against it in frustration.
Summon friends/NPCs to help you fight bosses! Use walkthroughs! I would have missed SO MUCH weird and hidden shit if not for walkthroughs. If a boss is too hard, explore and come back to it later! There’s no shame in not ramming your head against a boss that’s way out of your league. Very few bosses took me more than two or three tries, and even the notoriously hard bosses went down smooth. Even grind if you need to (though the way I was playing, I didn’t even NEED to grind all that much. Just for the one hardest boss in the entire game at the end of the DLC)
Basically, swallow your pride and take the game as a learning experience, not a source of rage, and you, too, can play bloodborne!
TL:DR If someone who used to be too scared to leave the starting area of the first borderlands game can beat bloodborne, than so can you! I believe in you!
obviously I'm not saying that some people won't have certain limitations that makes playing the game too challenging to be fun, I'm saying if you want to play it, don't let the soulsbourne games' reputation for being infuriatingly hard stop you, i know for a fact a lot of die hard fans didn't do a lot of this stuff, they just beat their head against a boss upwards of thirty times before winning, wheareas the single hardest boss took me like five or six tries because I was willing to try a few times before going, “Oh I'm not able to do this right now”, then leaving to explore and level up some more, then suddenly the bosses were easy, and I got to see so much more of the game, and I agree with my friend that the hard mode combat sim challenges in FFVII Rebirth were ten times harder, those took me upwards of a month to complete, wheareas all of bloodborne only took me two weeks,Annoying dog people but in the pokemon world would be crazy like hey is it okay if I bring my pet steelix to the BBQ oh don’t worry she’s such a sweetheart! She doesn’t bite!

White woman at the park shows up with her Nidorino and talks abt how cute and lovey it is when it’s clearly aggressive towards other male pokemon and knocking children over. She doesn’t carry any antidotes bc He Would Never but like that poison horn is moving topspeed towards a target at any given time. And worse, it’s high level so it won’t stop trying to dig for moonstones even tho it’s a public park way outside of the appropriate geological range
