ABC April 2025, Day 17 O

Today's letter is O. I made this birthday card for my grandson using opaque paint and crackle paste. 

This is my first mixed media card, I believe. (Intentional mixed media anyway. LOL) I think it turned out pretty cool. I really like it. I think he will too. :) 

ABC April 2025, Day 16, N

I started a completely different project for today's prompt and was going to do rusty metal number signs, the project I missed from mass make March. Well, long story short, I failed that lesson big time and they did not turn out at all. I think I know where I went wrong, so I'll give it a try another time. But, in the meantime, I made these Neutrals and Numbers mini file folders. They measure 5 1/2 x 4 inches when open. 

ABC April 2025, Day 15 M - metal charms and mini books

Today's project is not on the prompt list. Yes, I went rogue! LOL I made more 'metal' charms and 'mini books'. I love making mini books and these are so cute. You don't need any special tools to make mini books, as long as you have some paper. :)

I love having these little charms to dangle from tags, pages, books, etc. They just add the extra something we all love. I call them "faux metal" but really they are metal - aluminum tape and paper. 

Mini books...who doesn't love these? Perfect little note pads to toss in your purse, keep in the car, or tuck into your backpack for when you need to jot down a note that you know you'll forget otherwise. LOL

This one might be my favorite. I love the jumbo slide for the cover. And the awesome moth is also a digital print, fussy cut and adhered between two pieces of packing tape. No acetate required! Plus, I added cheesecloth. 

But this one might also be my favorite. I can't decide which one I like best. But this yellow paper is so pretty, I had to use this scrap for the book cover. Plus, I added a couple of the faux metal charms for extra panache. 

This one is a matchbook mini book. So much fun and easy to make these. Paper and staples! 

You don't even need eyelets, really. Just punch holes and add twine. Super quick and easy notepad. 

ABC April 2025, Day 14 L

L - today's prompts are: labels, layers, ledger, lace. I couldn't decide, so I did all of them! :)

There are six layers to this one and several types of ledgers

this one has labels and layers as well

and this one is all about the lace...the little girl's collar, the washi trims, and the actual lace across the bottom.

ABC April 2025, Day 12 K

Day 12 K - Keys

Maybe you recognize these keys ... they were stickers (until I backed them from cardstock to give them some weight) from years and years ago! I can't remember the brand now, but they were along the lines of Life's Journey or one of those that did vintage style elements. Anyway, I've grunged them up and made them cruddy looking, and I love how they turned out for my key envelope.
