Someone asked what I meant, so I mustered up the energy to actually make it into a little obstacle course for my 2 year old!

The goal is simple simple- cross the balance beam, grab the colored bear (ideally that the adult requests), walk over the balance beam and match the color of the bear to the cup. 

We did a wheelbarrow walk back to the start and repeated it several times.

When you incorporate movement into learning activities you’re stimulating multiple parts of the brain, which helps with retention of the information! 

Plus you can work on a ton of other gross motor skills simultaneously!
