A fairly well camouflaged and unmistakable member of the Cicadellidae (Hemiptera). Found on a dead branch of Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) covered with lichens (Xanthoria parietina). Field stack based on 32 exposures, assembled in Zerene Stacker, not cropped. Canon 5Dmkii, MP-E 65mm at 1.1x, ISO-100, f/5, 1/20sec, natural light, diffused with tracing paper.
