Dove. Vogue, 2005. This ad fulfills the self- esteem concept. It is made to make the person viewing the ad feel better about themselves by showing them that everyone is beautiful in their own way.

Displayed in ‘the pits of New York,’ the self care brand’s latest work celebrates body positivity ahead of New York fashion week.

While many companies aimed towards females use models who don't represent the majority of women - whether that be in size, ethnicity, age, etc. - Dove's "Real Beauty" campaign uses real women (never models) to show that beauty comes in many forms. I personally like this because it's refreshing and sets Dove apart as a company.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Real Beauty, Dove aimed to inspire women to feel more positive about their appearance and to broaden the definition of beauty in our society. We decided to create a campaign to transform the fear of wrinkles into a reminder of joy.

To break the unrealistic image of women portrayed in media, Dove and Mindshare Denmark have teamed up to create an amazing campaign called Image_Hack.

Dove is taking a stand against TikTok's new Bold Glamour filter and the unrealistic beauty standards it perpetuates in an influencer-led campaign.
