When I became an empty nester I decided this was my last hail Mary to lock in my fitness and nutrition. I decided to seek out the women in my midlife age range that were having success because while I was active my entire life, what I was doing was not working. I decided to focus on progressive overload lifting and plain old walking. I figured out what my macros needed to be and laser focused on nutrition. Side note: macros is an ongoing thing. Sometimes needing tweaking!

Believe it or not, I'm not a naturally lean person. I've been well over 200lbs, but now I stay lean with a routine that works for me, even over 50. It's not as hard as you think, and it's never too late to start taking care of your body and your health.
