Briana Bosch on Instagram: "Do you wash pinecones when you bring them inside? I’m on the fence… but either way this is a quick weekend nature craft that doesn’t require a bunch of supplies! A pinecone garland is easy to assemble in a snap—if you want it to be even more festive, try spraying it with a blend of essential oils like cinnamon and clove! Materials needed: ribbon or twine Pinecones Essential oil of choice (optional) Some will wash and bake their pinecones before using if concerned about dirt or bugs—soak for 30 minutes in a sink full of water and 1/2 cup of vinegar before baking in a 300 degree oven for about an hour to dry out and open again. (I honestly don’t do this myself but you certainly can!)
