Being a single mom has its challenges, but not every woman is satisfied staying in an unhealthy relationship. That's why some single moms are much happier after getting divorced and raising their children.

Researchers at Boston University discovered that married couples with separate occupations and salaries are less likely to divorce. Being the sole breadwinner for your family can be stressful. No matter who choose to stay home and raise the family or let the spouse handle the finances, there's a deep sense of humiliation when you decide it's not the life you want. So how can a stay-at-home mom prepare for divorce?
