This is one of my gold nuggets. I love this technique for tractioning the hip and decompressing the SI joint. The client should utilized a contraction of the QL that hikes that side of the pelvis and pulls against the therapists resistance. Three to five cycles can really decrease a lot of tension in the lower back.
