Blessed Mother Wall Shrine! This fabulous piece was created by me using an Altoid tin piece! I created a shrine using a tiny ceramic statue I made and fired in my home kiln. It is hand painted. Various stones and beads were used to embellish this one of a kind piece! A tiny wire is attached to the back for ease in hanging. what a great addition to your prayer corner!

This antique shrine/shadowbox was commissioned to provide comfort and remembrance for the 2000+ souls lost in the Johnstown, PA flood of 1889. There is an original note regarding this on the back of the rough- hewn frame, including the original poem/prayer written for the survivors. The shadow box itself is gorgeous!
