You can get the Japanese curry blocks from most big supermarkets or any asian supermarket! Serves 2: recipe: 16 frozen dumplings 2 onions 1/2 tsp chilli flakes 1 tbsp mirin 2 Japanese curry blocks 400ml dashi (or veg stock) 2 tbsp soy sauce To serve 1 tbsp chilli oil 2 spring onions, finely sliced Thinly slice the onions and add to a pan with a big plug of oil. add the chilli flakes and a big pinch of salt, cook until translucent. Add in the mirin and dashi and bring to a bubble. Crumble in the curry blocks (I used a tea strainer to prevent clumps forming!) and mix well. Add in the frozen dumplings and cover with a lid.
