To hit better we need to be able to get into a good position to contact the ball. The problem some athletes have when training is they're focusing on their timing, approach technique and spiking accuracy, technique and more. With this drill we're taking out the complexity of spiking technique and focusing just on the approach and timing the approach jump to reach the goal position. We can adjust the set to make it higher, lower, faster, off the net etc to practice identifying the set and pairing it with the best action to put yourself in a good position to score, recycle etc.
