Capelli Project - Aquatic Artists designed and built this natural stone waterfall cascading over a pool grotto overtop a 2-person love seat on this gunite pool in Mechanicsburg, PA. The waterfall grotto we crafted is 3.5′ high. Also, we placed a sitting rock next to the pool grotto and we placed planting beds throughout this water feature to tie in the natural look. We got our pool built last summer and initially I was in no rush to have a pool at our home given the fact that our community has multiple ones we can utilize, but now having our own it’s one of my favorite features at our home. Here’s a few pool features I’d do all over again: 1. The water bowl and waterfall features are such a vibe. I love the calming sound they provide and they just give an oasis feeling. We went back and forth initially between fire bowls and water bowls and I’m so glad we went the water route. We can turn these features on right from our phones! 2. This 18’ x 36’ geometric pool features an oversized, negative edge spa that is perfectly symmetric to the sun shelf and glass tile feature wall along the back of the pool. LED bubblers were placed in the sun shelf, and combination fire/water bowls were added to either side of this space to highlight it even further. There is also a raised turf area with a fire pit and seating for an accent lounging area.
