CAULIFLOWER ALFREDO PASTA 🍝 Low Calorie Density & fantastic for weight loss! Vegan, I lost 60lbs (as a volume eater) eating pasta multiple times a week and this is my secret: 1. Make a low fat sauce out of veggies! Cauliflower is one of my faves coz it's super creamy. 2. Fill my bowl with a ton of leafy greens to provide bulk & freshness 3. We all know you can do wraps with gram (chickpea) flour, but these are a totally different ball game and SO darn delicious! Ingredients 2 cup dried chickpeas 3 cups water Optional: 1 tbsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic salt You cannot use cooked chickpeas for this recipe. Soak 2 cups of dried chickpeas (with baking soda if desired) for at least 6 hours. Rinse, drain and blend with 3 cups of water (plus optional seasonings) until smooth. Heat a non stick pan and use 1/3 cup of mixture at a time. Spread out and let it cook for 3-4mins. Flip and cook for 2-3mins. Set aside and repeat until you have used all the mixture. Cheap, satisfying and could be used for sweet or savoury dishes! G
