honestly if your favourite season of buffy is season 6 then you are one of god’s bravest and most resplendent soldiers but season 6 haters are never going to realize that
realising more and more the reason I x out of 99.99% buffy s6 fics after 2 paragraphs is not just because they all wanna retcon seeing red and I simply love their consequential arcs in s7 too much but also lol I don’t think I think buffy is in love with spike during s6 and even if she is that isn’t the point at all my girl was fighting tooth and nail trying to find the will to live in a body she no longer recognised as her own. to ME
why try looking for fanfic at all in that case if I’m so satisfied with the canon plot as is well I like seeing when my girl is given a bit more interiority
this is a riley finn hate zone but i Am happy that buffy got to have relatively normal sexual relationship during a formative period in her life after (and one might say in between) being traumatised to feel like her basic desires were going to bring the damn apocalypse
