Hi, I’m Ari, they/she.

I like: sci-fi, manhandling, field medicine, Star Trek, magical weapons, space, historical medicine, ASMR and when the medic gets hurt. I’m a Wilderness EMT-B currently working in upstate NY. I also have worked on tall ships, STEM education (my specific area of expertise is Earth and space science), outdoor ed, and I’m happy to answer relevant questions you might have!

I love learning about the gay firefighters solely third hand from my dash I hope I never see one minute of this actual show because it would ruin it. Fascinated with how this has remained exactly 50/50 ever since the first two votes.

I do think there’s some use to this, and that a community is a much better space for a community messageboard / announcements page than a blog. I’ll look into getting something started and we’ll see where it goes!

so far, it’s a dead tie! I personally feel very out of the loop if I’m off of tumblr for even a day or two - it’s that easy for time-sensitive notifications to get lost in the ether. I’m personally not really into groups that much, but I think it would be a GREAT way of archiving community event notices so we can all find them easily!
