Death Takes a Holiday is a 1934 American romantic fantasy drama movie directed by Mitchell Leisen and was based on the 1924 play La morte in vacanza by Alberto Casella. It stars Frederic March, Evelyn Venable, Guy Standing, Katherine Alexander, Kathleen Howard, Gail Patrick and was distributed by Paramount Pictures. It was remade as Meet Joe Black in 1998.
