Sonny With a Chance is a upcoming Disney Channel Original Series that is set to premiere on Sunday, February 8, 2009. The show's previous title in the beginning was Welcome to Mollywood about a girl name Molly, but was later changed to Welcome to Holliwood, about a girl name Holli, but was now changed to Sonny With a Chance. The show will be a show-within-a-show, with complete fully-produced comedy sketches.
Plot
The series will follow Sonny Munroe, a smalltown girl from Wisconsin who moves to Los Angeles with her mom to shoot the sketch comedy So Random. There, she meets the cast of So Random: Nico, Grady, Zora, and Tawni. Everybody on the cast seems to like Sonny, except Tawni, who always liked being the funny one on the show and thinks Sonny would try to steal her spotlight.
