Apremont is a commune. It is found in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in the Ain department in the east of France. It is located half-way between Nantua and Oyonnax In 2009, 352 people lived in the commune. The inhabitants are the Apremontois. The most important monument in the commune is a ruined castle from the 13th century.
