Argentina Provinces

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Argentina, each of the twenty-three federated states named in the Constitution of the Argentine Nation is called a province, which together with the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires constitute the first-order territorial divisions of the country. The provinces have full autonomy, are part of the Nation and are legally prior to it, according to the principles of federalism established in the National Constitution.
