Atari, Inc. is an American video game and home computer company. It was founded in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney.[1] Atari was the first company to make a video arcade game in a cabinet.[2] The company made famous games, such as Pong. Atari helped define the gaming entertainment industry and home computers from the 1970s to the mid-1980s.[2] They made home computers until 1993.[2]
Atari filed for bankruptcy in 2013[3]
