Cengiz Bektaş

Cengiz Bektaş (November 26, 1934 – 20 March 2020) was a Turkish architect, engineer, poet and writer. He wrote for Evrensel magazine. He was known for his buildings such as Etimesgut Mosque in Ankara; Babadağlılar Bazaar in Denizli; Turkish Language Association bulding in Ankara; Kantogan House in Datça and Akdeniz University Olbia a Center of Social in Antalya.

Bektaş died on 20 March 2020 of heart failure in Ankara at the age of 85.[1]
