Ion Chicu (born 28 February 1972) is a Moldovan politician. He was the Prime Minister of Moldova from 14 November 2019 until 31 December 2020. He became Prime Minister after Maia Sandu was forced out of office in a motion of no confidence by the Parliament of Moldova.[1]
Chicu resigned as Prime Minister in 23 December 2020 because of the protests in Moldova demanding early parliamentary elections.[2]
