Munish Kumar Raizada (born July 21, 1968) is an Indian-American medical doctor, politician,[1] director, producer, and editor-in-chief. He is the current President of the Bharatiya Liberal Party,[2][3] elected in 2024. Raizada is also known for his work as the Director and Producer of the web series Transparency: Pardarshita and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of NewsGram, a Chicago-based digital media platform.[4][5][6]
Early Life and Education
[change | change source]Munish Kumar Raizada was born on July 21, 1968, in Niwaznagar, Narnaul, Haryana, India, to Late Jiwan Lal Raizada and Bimla Devi. He pursued his early education in India and went on to become a medical professional.[7]
He completed his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Sewagram, Wardha, between 1985 and 1990. Raizada then moved to the United States to further his medical education. He completed his MD in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine from John H Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago, USA, between 2003 and 2006. Subsequently, he obtained his MD in Pediatrics from Long Island Jewish Hospital, New Hyde Park, New York, USA, between 2006 and 2008. Raizada is also a Board-certified Neonatologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics (DABP).[8][9][10]

[change | change source]Raizada was also involved with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In 2024, Raizada was elected as the President of the Bharatiya Liberal Party, where he continues to advocate for political reforms and alternative governance models.[11][12]
Media and Filmmaking
[change | change source]Raizada is also the Director and Producer of the web series Transparency: Pardarshita, which was released in 2020. The series highlights the need for transparency in political funding and governance, reflecting his commitment to political integrity.[13][14]
