The Oklahoma City bombing was a terrorist attack on April 19, 1995 on the U.S. government. The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States, was attacked by Timothy McVeigh. The truck bombing destroyed much of the building. As a result it had to be torn down. McVeigh and Terry Nichols exploded a truck bomb, killing 168 people and hurting 850 people[1][2]. It was the most deadly terrorist attack in the US until the September 11 attacks six years later. The bombing caused $652 million dollars in damage to the building and the nearby area.
