Valdir Joaquim de Moraes (23 November 1931 – 11 January 2020) was a Brazilian football player and manager. He played as a goalkeeper.
De Moraes was born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. From 1958 to 1969, he played for Palmeiras and won many honours. He also played for the Brazil national team five times between 1956 and 1965.
De Moraes died of multiple organ failure on 11 January 2020 in Porto Alegre. He was 88.[1]
